The Cañadón Caracoles climbing sector offers 60 routes of varying difficulty, set within a stunning landscape shaped by millennia of glacial activity. The Interpretation Center and Planetarium also feature an indoor climbing wall. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, both the indoor wall and canyon routes are available for free use, and can be accessed with or without a guide.

Archaeological Sites

Patagonia Park provides access to two remarkable archaeological sites with ancient rock paintings: Cueva de las Manos Provincial Park, one of South America’s oldest archeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Alero Charcamata Provincial Reserve. Visits to both sites require a guide.

Stargazing

Patagonia Park is a prime destination for astronomy enthusiasts. It offers a freely accessible observatory, sheltered from wind and cold, and an Interpretation Center and Planetarium where visitors can explore the region’s geological formation, species evolution, biodiversity challenges, and nature. The visit concludes in the planetarium, where Patagonian skies are projected and interpreted.
